According to a survey done by SilkRoad, a whopping 72% of HR professional lamented a lack of automation is holding them back.
This is what I think the HR professional need…. you just need to know how to use Google better.
There are already tonnes of automation (and many of them dirt cheap) to help a business eliminate mundane administration, easily implement initiatives or simply raise the frequency and quality of communication between co-workers.
For instance, use 15Five to implement and improve employee engagement. Deploy Bitrix24 to instantly provide a facebook for your business, get a dropbox-ish storage facility AND provide a company-only instant messaging tool. Implement Talenox to eliminate the frustration associated with payroll.
And use Zapier to hook them up to create if-this-then-that triggers.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. I discovered other tools that could help the finance department to automate credit control, to ensure prompt payment to suppliers so you don’t incur late penalty and even automatically add your new customer to your mailchimp list.
There are really lots of tools out there to help you automate but you just need to spend some time and know how to work your search string. If you need help on this, feel free to drop me a note.
